Building The OG C10 Garage: From Empty Bay to Veteran-Owned DIY Shop

Building The OG C10 Garage: From Empty Bay to Veteran-Owned DIY Shop

When I first walked into the empty warehouse that would become The OG C10 Garage & Co, it was nothing but concrete floors and big ideas.
As a Marine Corps veteran and lifelong car guy, I wanted to create something more than a repair shop — a DIY space where people could wrench, learn, and connect without the stress of dealership prices or rushed timelines.

Over the past few months we’ve transformed that empty shell into North Texas’s first veteran-owned DIY auto garage, equipped with everything a hands-on builder could need.
We started with five lifts — four 10K and one 12K Atlas models — then added sturdy workbenches, lighting, and organized tool carts stocked with Kobalt and Craftsman gear. Each bay is built for comfort, safety, and that satisfying sound of a torque wrench clicking at just the right spec.

Our goal has always been simple:

Built. Driven. Respected.

Every corner of this shop reflects that. From the black-and-red color scheme to the community lounge area, we designed The OG C10 Garage to feel like home for car enthusiasts — whether you’re working on your first project car or your fifteenth C10 build.

We’re located right here in Anna, Texas, serving the surrounding communities of McKinney, Melissa, Van Alstyne, and the greater Collin County area. If you’ve ever wanted a place to safely lift your car, change your own brakes, or just hang out with fellow gearheads — this is it.
